St. Hedwig (or St. Jadwiga) intercedes especially for the poor and for those with who's in debt or any kind of money problems. She was born in Bavaria (South Germany) and the mother of six children, of which five died, filling her life with sorrow.
After her husband died, too, she entered a convent where her daughter Gertrude was the abbess. She dedicated all her life to the poor, the abandoned and the unfortunate.

Prayer to St. Hedwig to make an request
"You, St Hedwig, were, here on earth, the protector of the poor and marginalised, helper of those in debt. Now, you are in heaven where you enjoy the eternal reward of the charity you practised. Confidently I ask you to be my advocate to obtain from God the grace of (mention your request) and also the supreme grace of eternal salvation. Amen!"
